Loved your story, Lizzie. Kids do say the darndest things! My little one, Nick, is always saying things that come out of left field. One of my favorites was when he was about three and we were driving somewhere talking about different family members who lived far away from us. He asked where my Nana lived and I told him that she lived in heaven. He asked how she got there. I told him that she had been sick, not the kind of sick when you have a cold or an upset tummy, but a different kind of sick that happens sometimes when you get old. I was trying my best to explain it to him and when I finished he said, "Oh, I thought it was a gunshot."

LOL, I always get a good laugh when our kids use our own lingo back on us. Guess it's proof that they are listening.
Happy to hear that I provided you with a laugh - will keep searching thru my video vaults!

Oh my gosh, that is sooooo funny!!!

But, it reminds me why I'm so grossed out by public pools... but what are you going to do... they need to learn to swim. Even if it's in a pool of poop and pee. Ugh.

I love your show! It's so great!

When my oldest was about two she was always wanted to know what was going on, who I was talking to on the phone, what I was cooking for dinner, what was in my cup and on and on and on. One night my husband and I waited until she was fast asleep before we ordered ourselves some pizza and enjoyed an evening together while she slept.

The very next morning she got up, looked around, then looked at me and said," What's that smells? I couldn't believe it. "She smelled the pizza and was mad that we ate it without her. We couldn't get anything past her then. She's still the same way today, only now she's 11.

Haa... almost peed in my pants too. Well, you gotta give her credit for being honest and when you gotta go, you gotta go. Not sure if this would come across as funny, but as you know my daughter is special needs and therefore communication can be a challenge with her limited vocabulary. But wouldn't you know it, after scolding her in my frazzled, ungraceful demeanor, she's turns to me and says "that's not appropriate". HEL-LO!? Excuse me, who's the adult here?

Good thing you decided to go through your video library and found this. I soo needed a laugh today. Look forward to the next one!!! {{Hugs}}
