Vacation/Winter Break/Holiday is Over!

I know, I know vacation is over. I can see it on my calendar. Today is Wednesday, January 5th 2010 and I’m still struggling to get back into the swing of things. I guess that’s what happens when the kids are home for a month long Holiday break and I get sicker than a dog.
Bare with me. I promise I’ll get back to my old routine. I can’t imagine I’m the only one feeling this way. Are you having a tough time dealing with “re-entry” after the long break? I can’t be the only one – can I?
I stumbled across your website looking for something totally NOT related, but boy can I relate! Four kids all back in school today (well, 1/2 day for the preschooler) and you’d think I’d have a slew of things accomplished! But no…I’m puttering around aimlessly, missing my kids (kind of) and wishing the housecleaner was coming today. Wait…I don’t have a housecleaner…

You’re sooo not alone. HEL-LO! Couldn’t wake up yesterday for my daughter’s first day of school. Thankfully, my husband sprung into action and got breakfast & coffee started to help kick me into gear. Very SLOOOW gear I might add. That’s pretty much how I roll on most days. Sad, sooo sad. =)
I need a new LizzieB video!!! I am going through withdraw.

Soooo glad you gals can relate to my lack of motivation. Oh, I’ve come up with a couple more reasons why I found it so hard to get back into gear. My hubby’s birthday is on December 30th and mine was last weekend. Which if you don’t know me by now means I milk the B-day celebration as long as I possibly can. Unfortunately, I think the celebration is officially over:(
And Kelly girl, I promise to have a new vlog up soon. Just got a new video camera and figuring it all out!
