Blissdom Recap from 3-Vlogging Mama’s

When I left for my first trip to Nashville, Tennessee last Thursday I was scared – very scared. I had no idea how the hundreds of women at the Blissdom Conference would perceive me. For starters, I’m not much of a blogger. I know my writing sucks so I prefer to vlog (video blog). And I’m a total freakin’ newbie! I’ve only been in the world of mom video blogging for 4-plus months and most of the attendees are seasoned veterans. So, you get why I was a bit freaked out. Long story short I was wrong. I mean way wrong! In fact, it was such a great weekend that my twitter pals and I decided to host a round up of what we all learned from Blissdom 2010.

Well, LizzieBTV, first of all, you look just as gorgeous on your vlog as you did at the conference. Second, I cannot believe you did not mention my empassioned line-jumping to make sure that we got our photo with Harry Connick, Jr. Finally, I’m so glad I met you. When I am done with this book, I’m going to ask you and Danielle to teach me how to vlog!
Hollee, you are too kind. Truth be known – you were on my list of new bloggers I met at Blissdom who made a big impression on me but I ran out of time. Seriously girl, you do not mess around when it comes to you and your Harry! I can’t wait for the release of your book – how exciting. Next year – you can do the “getting published” workshop. And of course my dear, would love to teach you how to vlog – first vlog should be “hollee’s tips on taking a photo w/Harry!”
