I Hate Monday’s: Do You?

I’m sure most of you won’t be shocked by this revelation of mine but I HATE Monday’s! Instead of starting out the new week refreshed and revived I’m usually completely frazzled and behind the eight ball! In fact, this morning I had a phone call with my gal Meredith Sinclair of Hoo-dee-hoo and I swear we must have complained for at least 10-minutes about being overwhelmed with the weekend aftermath in our homes and how we distract ourselves with surfing online for our “dream home” instead of being productive. Our phone call was obviously the motivation for this post – please forgive the mess – I swear I’m gonna clean up and get organized one of these days!
We need to talk EVERY monday and just compare who has more crap to clean up and stuff on their to-do lists.

When I have stuff coming in for my website and it looks like my 2yo can play with. My 4yo goes: No CJ! That is for Baby To Be TV. I should film that it is too hilarious.
Anyhow…Mondays…to me means oh shoot did I forget the laundry again? Running a quick load so that the kids have their uniforms for school. HATE IT. It`s so true, I totally feel paralyzed too! I find myself in bed watching whatever I can find on my DVR! I hate DVR`s..lol they make me watch EVERYTHING on that damn thing. lol (its only handy for the kids shows, that`s it)
and then I go…I hate TUESDAYS!!! just from my own mistakes running over from the day before. UGH

You got me at “Hi there”. You know I love ya girl. Oh who cares if there’s stuff on your table, floor, sofa, stool, umm… did I cover every surface? Hehe… I kid. Anyhoo, we’re allowed to have our “stuck” days and have the prerogative on how to spend it. When I feel burnt out during the day from work… I happily pick up my tv remote and strategically plop my (jiggly) butt on the bed and channel surf mindlessly. It helps to revitalize & re-energize my mind. A stretch I know, the experts say tv numbs your brain, but it works. Point is, whatever works for you Lizzie.
BTW, can I have the hat? I have many baad hair days (or more lazy days) & hats are my saving grace. LOL! Awesome video! =D

I always think that on Monday’s I will accomplish tons of stuff.. and never do. So I’ve started to use Monday as my ‘bag it’ day and start a new on Tuesday.

Danielle, Linda and Ros, so glad that you u girls still like me after I expose my flaws (don’t worry I’ve got plenty more up my sleeve)! Yeah, my next post I’ll have to show you gals what I’ve got recorded on my DVR for those days when I need a good dose of mind numbing television! I’m so with y’all!
LOL Mikki, love your “do away with Monday” concept. Unfortunately, if I tried to copy you – I’d probably end up hating Tuesday’s just as much! Still stumped on what “PTL” is – please enlighten me.
