When it comes to learning how to vlog there are a few things that can help make your vlogs stand out from the rest. One of them is using a tripod to shoot your vlogs and your video. However, I'll be the first to tell you there are exceptions to this rule. Take a listen, I'll explain.

Great vlog! I totally agree with you too. I use both. I actually bought the swiggly tripod for my aunt as a gift last year and she loves it! :)

    You rock Lizzie!

  2. We usually tripod since we are having discussions. Then we can just focus on the content and not worry about the camera. We are in the process of creating a video coming out in a few weeks about a dieting challenge we are doing with each other. So fun to create…no tripod…and unfortunately since we can’t drop 5lbs in one day we haven’t been able to finish the video yet:) Have a great day. Holly

  3. Haha! Yup… I like to work the “still” angle… but sometimes have to carry that camera. I like how you wrapped it up… you can’t just use one method :) But I have my fave :)

I’m with you gals. When I’m sitting and talking I prefer to use a tripod – although sometimes you just have to do without. I highly prone to motion sickness so I really try not to get too crazy with the video camera when I’m shooting freestyle.

I’ve had the same tripod for a long time, I got it back when my dad bought me a camcorder. :) I really didn’t ever use it, but I kept it. I was so excited the other day when I pulled it out and saw that it works with my new digital camera! It’s a lot like your big tripod. It folds down really compactly and is very handy.

How funny, we’ve had the tripod forever and a day too! It was collecting dust in a closet when I realized I didn’t have to go out and buy a new one. It’s an oldy but a goody.
