Kristi Yamaguchi – Olympic Gold Skater & Dancing with the Stars Winner

If you didn’t follow Kristi Yamaguchi’s illustrious ice-skating career in the 80’s and the 90’s (because you’re too young) – I’m hoping you caught her tearing up the dance floor on season five of  “Dancing with the Stars.” I’m telling you whether she’s performing on the ice or the dance floor – this gal has moves – she’s Uh-mazing!! I’ve always been in awe of her insane talents. So, you can imagine how thrilled I was when I found out I was going to get a chance to sit down and talk to her. We talked about the upcoming fundraiser for her Always Dream Foundation, last night’s big “Dancing with the Stars” winner, Nicole Scherzinger and of course how she juggles being a mom to two lovely little girls.

Okay, isn’t she a doll!!! And can I just say – I’ve spent my entire life being vertically challenged (I’m barely 5′3″) but I felt like a giant next to Kristi. When I looked at the playback of the video I laughed because she’s so darn itty bitty cute and my head looks the size of half her little body!! Oh, and special thanks to P.R. RockStar, Lori Puccinelli-Stern of Glodow Nead Communications for hooking me up with the interview!

She is itty bitty cute and she looks like she is 14. She does not look like a Totally Desperate Mom. But down deep, I know she is part of the club. And although I am not a drinker, I love that you sat down and had a chat in a bar. With great music in the background and everything.

Thanks Linda girl. It was a nutty day trying to make it to the interview but I got there in a nick of time and made it work! I think I was still out of breath when I started chatting with her… LOL.
