What I Love Most About My Trip to NYC…

I'm not sure if it's because I spent soooo many years being single (fyi, I didn't marry til my mid 30's) or if it's just my personality. But one of my favorite things about going away on a girls weekend is that I know I'll get to spend some serious "alone" time. Whether I'm sitting in a cab, waiting for a flight or taking a leisurely walk - I take great pleasure in being all by myself. Don't get me wrong, I love my girl time (as you can see in this video) but I also love just chilling out and taking in new sights all by lonesome too. It really feeds my soul.

I feel you Liz! Man sleeping in a bed all by yourself.. not a snorring husband, kicking 2 year old that always decide to lay horizontal and another snorring creature ( our cat) on the other side of the bed. Just to be by yourself in bed is a get away on its own. aaaaahhhhhh Or getting an ice cream all by yourself. The flavor you want, no dripping ice cream to catch and what not.

Linda you cracked me up about having a couple of snoring people in the bed – so true!! Getting an ice cream all by yourself – yeah, that’s a treat. Usually I’m like you – licking up the melted drips sliding down my kids cone. LOL.
