Great Organic Products for Babies and Kids

I know when my girls were born finding eco-friendly and organic baby products wasn’t easy. Boy, how things have changed. When I attended the ABC Kids Expo back in September there was a huge section of the exhibitor floor devoted to eco/green/natural products. I saw a lot of great stuff but my favorites were products that either had great function, great design or great price points.

  • The first product I chose was a line of children clothing called Pukies. It wasn’t just the silly name that got my attention it was the fact that a mom created this line of clothing from sustainable fabrics. Not only that but the clothes are designed in unusual colors – colors that help hide the fact that kids often wear what they eat. The newest addition to their clothing line – a fabric that also doubles as a bug repellent.
  • The mom inventor of Baby Bump skin care has a new line out just for little ones. It’s called “Kuddles.” My girls have really dry, itchy skin so I’m looking forward to trying out this line of skin care products for kids. Unfortunately, Kuddles was just launching when I stumbled across them they didn’t even have samples for me to try yet.
  • Truth be known I didn’t even think twice about using disposable diapers for my girls. But had I thought otherwise I would’ve loved to have tried the organic, cloth diapers from Kissaluvs. Not only do they come in great organic prints and colors but they’ve got cloth diapers that grow with your child so the diaper they wear as an infant can be used as a toddler.
  • There are several companies making stainless steel water bottles but Organic Kidz is the first company to make a stainless steel baby bottle! They’ve got all the benefits of using glass bottles but these bottles are non destructable and insulated so, if you want to keep milk warm it’ll stay warm.
  • If I was still in the market for stroller toys for my girls I’d definitely invest in organic plush toys from MiYim. The family behind these toys/dolls takes organic coloring seriously. They go thru a lengthy process of using natural dyes to color their dolls and can only produce certain colors depending on what natural ingredients they can find. By far, some of the best looking organic plush toys on the market.

Also, another favorite organic product I have to tell you about, it’s called “Burp Armor.” It’s the burp cloth that won’t move off your shoulder and can handle any spit-up. Click here to view video.
