I Hate Monday’s: Do You?

I’m sure most of you won’t be shocked by this revelation of mine but I HATE Monday’s! Instead of starting out the new week refreshed and revived I’m usually completely frazzled and behind the eight ball! In fact, this morning I had a phone call with my gal Meredith Sinclair of Hoo-dee-hoo and I swear we must have complained for at least 10-minutes about being overwhelmed with the weekend aftermath in our homes and how we distract ourselves with surfing online for our “dream home” instead of being productive. Our phone call was obviously the motivation for this post – please forgive the mess – I swear I’m gonna clean up and get organized one of these days!

I hate Monday’s

I’ve never been a big fan of Monday’s but now that I have kids they’re especially painful. The pain is compounded when you toss in the fact that my girls spent the weekend away at my parents. Don’t get me wrong, I love that my kids get to bond with their grandparents. But coming back home always sucks! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why Monday’s are always so tough. Think about it, for 48-hours they get to chill out at what I like to call “Camp Chaos!” They stay up as late as they want, they skip their naps, they eat whatever they want, they watch too much tv, you get the point.

I know I’m totally bitching. I should count my lucky stars that my folks are alive and healthy to help out with the girls when they can. So, I will shut up now. Just think I needed to vent. I think I’ve got a future video blog on this issue coming up in the near future!
