At some point, your child is going to make you crazy when she declares herself a “carb-o-tarian” (that’s a carb only diet) or refuses to wear anything but dresses with rain boots. I promise you the day will come. But instead of digging your feet in and proving who’s boss you may want to take a step back. Try to think of the big picture. For me, that meant getting creative with smoothies so my daughter would eat her protein, fruits and veggies. It also meant letting my gal look like a hot lil’ mess every day at preschool. But I got over it. The trade off being no more morning meltdowns and my morning stress level dropped big time!
