Hallmark Cards New Kids Collection

As I mentioned in a vlog (seen here) a few weeks ago, I attended “Blissdom”  a social media conference in Nashville earlier this month.  Among the many cool people I met while there was Sarah Mueller, a card writer for Hallmark. Pretty cool job, huh?  Before I go any further let me tell you that Hallmark was one of the many event sponsors this year (and in case you’re wondering I’m not getting paid by them).  They were there giving out samples from their new Kids Collection line , a wonderful and contemporary line of cards that’s perfect for kids, tweens and teens.  They also set up a “Blissful Encouragement” video booth during the conference. It allowed vloggers like myself to pop on in and sit down and chat on camera with card writers like Sarah about the importance of encouraging kids.

I know it sounds kind of hokey but my parents have been giving my sisters and I Hallmark cards as long as I can remember. They still do. Most of the time the cards they send make me laugh or smile but once in a while my mom slips in a sappy one that always makes me cry. It’s no wonder that when I sat down with Sarah I found myself getting a little emotional about some of my Hallmark memories and how I encourage my little girls.

Sooo, what do you do to enourage the little people in your life? Do share by leaving a comment:)
